ANKrD Terms of Use

ANKrD is created and operated by Celestial Works LLC.

These Terms of Use explain the rules for downloading, accessing, or using ANKrD. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using ANKrD, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use ANKrD.

1. About ANKrD

ANKrD is a mobile behavior and shopping pause app designed to help users reflect before making purchases.

ANKrD may include purchase pause tools, impulse check-ins, spending reflections, wishlist or save-for-later lists, purchase notes, emotional spending prompts, habit tracking, AI-assisted reflections, reminders, account features, purchases, subscriptions, paywalls, premium features, settings, and other app features.

ANKrD is provided for personal reflection, shopping pause, and behavior support purposes only.

ANKrD is not a bank, financial institution, credit counselor, financial advisor, therapist, medical provider, legal advisor, debt management service, emergency service, or professional care service.

We may update, change, add, remove, pause, limit, disable, or discontinue any part of ANKrD at any time, including free features, paid features, AI features, reminders, wishlist tools, reflection tools, premium features, subscriptions, or backend services.

2. License to Use ANKrD

Celestial Works LLC gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ANKrD for personal, non-commercial reflection, shopping pause, and behavior support purposes.

You do not own ANKrD or any part of the app.

ANKrD, including its name, branding, logo, design, artwork, interface, templates, layouts, text, code, content, systems, features, prompts, habit tools, and reflection experience, is owned by Celestial Works LLC or its licensors.

You may not copy, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, hack, exploit, clone, resell, or commercially use ANKrD or its content without written permission from Celestial Works LLC.

All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.

3. Personal Use

ANKrD is intended for personal reflection and shopping behavior support.

You may use ANKrD to pause before purchases, save wishlist items, record purchase notes, reflect on emotional spending, set reminders, organize shopping thoughts, and use AI-assisted reflection features where available.

You may not use ANKrD as a professional financial system, credit counseling service, debt management service, therapy service, medical system, legal system, business expense system, accounting system, investment tool, emergency system, or commercial service without written permission from Celestial Works LLC.

You are responsible for deciding what information you enter, upload, save, rely on, copy, export, screenshot, message, print, or share.

4. Guest Use and Local Data

ANKrD may allow you to use some features as a guest or without creating an account.

Guest or local-only information may be stored locally on your device and may not be connected to an online account.

Guest or local-only information may not be saved to our database unless you later use an account-based feature that supports syncing, cloud backup, account recovery, AI features, or online storage.

This means:

• If you delete the app, your local-only data may be lost.
• If you switch phones or devices, your local-only data may not transfer.
• If your phone is lost, reset, damaged, replaced, or wiped, local-only data may be lost.
• If your local device storage is cleared, local-only data may be lost.
• If the app is removed, reinstalled, or reset, local-only data may be lost.
• We cannot manually restore local-only data if we do not store it on our servers.

You are responsible for understanding the risk of using guest or local-only features.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Celestial Works LLC is not responsible for lost purchase notes, lost wishlist items, lost reminders, lost reflections, lost settings, lost habit data, lost account data, or lost local data.

5. Accounts and Sign-In

ANKrD may allow you to sign in with Apple, Google, Facebook, email, or other supported login providers.

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity connected to your account.

You agree not to:

• Use another person's account
• Impersonate another person
• Provide false or misleading account information
• Attempt to access accounts or data that do not belong to you
• Abuse authentication systems
• Interfere with account security or login systems
• Share account access with people you do not trust

Signing in does not automatically unlock paid features, premium features, subscriptions, AI features, or premium content.

We may suspend, limit, disable, or delete access to account features if we believe there is fraud, abuse, misuse, security risk, policy violation, platform violation, safety risk, privacy risk, or legal risk.

6. Purchases, Subscriptions, Paywalls, and Premium Features

ANKrD may offer optional paid features, including subscriptions, premium tools, advanced pause features, extra lists, advanced reminders, AI-assisted reflections, paywalls, or other paid benefits.

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by the platform where you downloaded the app, such as the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Celestial Works LLC does not process your payment directly and does not receive or store your full credit card number, debit card number, bank account information, payment account password, or complete payment details.

Subscription billing, renewal, cancellation, refunds, chargebacks, taxes, payment methods, payment disputes, free trials, introductory offers, and billing problems are managed by Apple or Google according to their own rules and policies.

You are responsible for reviewing the price, billing period, renewal terms, trial terms, cancellation terms, and paywall details shown before purchasing or subscribing.

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless you cancel through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings before the renewal date.

Deleting the app, deleting local app data, signing out, deleting your ANKrD account data, deleting local-only data, or uninstalling ANKrD does not automatically cancel an active Apple App Store or Google Play subscription.

You must manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.

We may change, add, remove, rename, rebalance, limit, or discontinue paid features, free features, premium features, AI features, reminders, prompts, lists, tools, or content where allowed by law and platform rules.

7. Refunds

Refunds for purchases or subscriptions are handled by the platform that processed the purchase, such as Apple App Store or Google Play.

Celestial Works LLC does not control Apple or Google refund decisions.

If you want a refund, you must request it through the platform that processed your purchase.

We are not responsible for refund denials, billing disputes, subscription renewal issues, payment method issues, chargebacks, cancellation mistakes, or account issues controlled by Apple, Google, or another platform provider.

8. No Financial Advice

ANKrD may allow you to record wishlist items, price notes, purchase notes, spending reflections, emotional spending notes, budget-related notes, pause reasons, or habit tracking information.

ANKrD does not provide financial advice.

ANKrD does not provide investment advice, credit counseling, debt management, tax advice, accounting advice, budgeting advice, loan advice, insurance advice, legal advice, or professional financial planning.

ANKrD does not tell you whether you should or should not buy something.

ANKrD does not guarantee savings, debt reduction, improved finances, improved habits, better decisions, or financial outcomes.

Information in ANKrD is only as accurate as what you enter.

You are responsible for checking prices, budgets, financial obligations, purchase terms, subscriptions, return policies, debt obligations, and personal financial decisions before relying on anything in the app.

If you need financial, legal, tax, debt, credit, or professional advice, contact a qualified professional.

9. No Therapy, Medical, or Mental Health Treatment

ANKrD may include emotional spending prompts, impulse check-ins, habit tracking, AI-assisted reflections, and behavior support tools.

ANKrD does not provide therapy, mental health treatment, psychiatric care, diagnosis, medical advice, medication guidance, crisis counseling, or professional care.

ANKrD does not replace a therapist, doctor, psychiatrist, counselor, nurse, emergency service, crisis hotline, financial professional, or licensed professional.

If shopping behavior, financial stress, anxiety, depression, compulsive spending, addiction, self-harm, abuse, crisis, or safety concerns are affecting your life, contact a qualified professional.

For emergencies or immediate danger, contact emergency services.

Do not use ANKrD for emergencies.

10. AI Features

ANKrD may include optional AI-assisted features.

AI features may help with spending reflection, purchase pause prompts, emotional spending check-ins, wishlist organization, shopping summaries, habit insights, or general informational support.

AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, inappropriate, emotionally unhelpful, biased, or unsuitable for your situation.

AI features do not provide financial advice, credit counseling, debt management, therapy, medical advice, legal advice, tax advice, emergency help, or professional care.

You are responsible for reviewing, editing, verifying, and deciding whether to use or share any AI-generated content.

Do not rely on AI-generated content for financial decisions, debt decisions, credit decisions, investment decisions, legal decisions, tax decisions, medical decisions, mental health decisions, relationship decisions, safety decisions, or professional care.

We may change, limit, disable, remove, or discontinue AI features at any time.

11. Reminders and Notifications

ANKrD may allow you to create reminders or receive notifications.

Notifications may include purchase pause reminders, wishlist reminders, wait-before-buying reminders, reflection reminders, subscription notices, account notices, or other app-related messages.

Notifications may fail, delay, repeat, disappear, or not be delivered because of device settings, app settings, notification permissions, operating system behavior, battery settings, network issues, time zone issues, service outages, app bugs, or technical errors.

You should not rely on ANKrD notifications for bill payments, subscription cancellations, financial deadlines, debt payments, legal deadlines, medical needs, safety concerns, or time-sensitive obligations.

You are responsible for managing notification permissions and lock screen privacy settings on your device.

Celestial Works LLC is not responsible for missed reminders, delayed notifications, incorrect reminder settings, lock screen privacy issues, or consequences related to reminder or notification failures.

12. Purchase Links, Product Screenshots, and Shopping Content

ANKrD may allow you to save product links, store names, product screenshots, product images, price notes, purchase notes, wishlist items, or related shopping information.

You are responsible for the content you choose to upload, attach, save, or share.

Product links, screenshots, or images may reveal personal interests, spending habits, location, account details, addresses, names, order numbers, payment details, or other private information.

You agree not to upload, attach, save, or share content that:

• You do not have permission to use
• Violates another person's privacy
• Contains passwords, full payment card numbers, bank account numbers, Social Security numbers, tax IDs, or other highly sensitive information
• Contains illegal, harmful, abusive, exploitative, or misleading material
• Contains malware, harmful code, spam, or attacks
• Misrepresents financial, legal, medical, professional, or safety information
• Violates any law, platform rule, store rule, website rule, or third-party right

We may remove, limit, disable, or delete content or access if we believe there is legal risk, privacy risk, security risk, misuse, abuse, or violation of these Terms.

13. Shopping, Store, and Third-Party Links

ANKrD may allow you to save, open, or interact with product links, store links, affiliate-style links, website links, or other third-party links.

Third-party links, stores, websites, products, prices, availability, shipping, returns, refunds, subscriptions, product claims, product quality, and checkout experiences are controlled by third parties.

If you tap a third-party link, visit a store, make a purchase, subscribe to a service, create an account, communicate with a merchant, or share information with a third party, that interaction is between you and the third party.

Celestial Works LLC is not responsible for:

• Third-party stores, websites, apps, merchants, products, services, subscriptions, offers, or links
• Product prices, availability, quality, safety, accuracy, shipping, returns, refunds, cancellations, warranties, or disputes
• Purchases, charges, subscriptions, taxes, fees, account issues, payment issues, or delivery issues
• Information you choose to share with stores, merchants, advertisers, websites, apps, or third-party services
• How third parties collect, use, store, sell, disclose, or share your information
• Any issue, loss, damage, charge, subscription, dispute, claim, or harm related to a third-party store, website, product, service, merchant, or link

You should review the privacy policy and terms of any third-party service before sharing information, creating accounts, subscribing, or making purchases.

14. Ads and Third-Party Content

ANKrD is designed as a behavior and shopping pause app and may not always include ads.

If ANKrD shows ads in the future, ads may include rewarded ads, interstitial ads, banner ads, sponsor placements, or other ad formats.

Ads may be provided by third-party ad networks, including Google AdMob.

We do not control the specific ads shown, the products or services advertised, or the websites, apps, services, offers, subscriptions, purchases, or pages that ads may link to.

If you tap an ad, download another app, make a purchase, subscribe to another service, sign up for an account, communicate with an advertiser, or share information with a third party, that interaction is between you and the third party.

Celestial Works LLC is not responsible for:

• The content of third-party ads
• Products, services, apps, websites, subscriptions, or offers shown in ads
• Purchases, downloads, subscriptions, charges, refunds, cancellations, or disputes related to ads
• Information you choose to share with advertisers or third-party services
• How third-party advertisers collect, use, store, sell, disclose, or share your information
• Any issue, loss, damage, charge, subscription, dispute, claim, or harm related to a third-party ad, advertiser, website, app, product, or service

You should review the privacy policy and terms of any third-party service before sharing information, downloading apps, signing up, subscribing, or making purchases.

15. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use ANKrD for illegal, harmful, abusive, deceptive, exploitative, or fraudulent purposes
• Use ANKrD as a financial advice service, credit counseling service, debt management service, therapy service, medical system, legal service, tax service, emergency service, or professional care service
• Enter, upload, save, or share another person's private information without permission
• Use ANKrD to scam, pressure, manipulate, deceive, exploit, or harm another person
• Misrepresent your identity, financial status, professional status, relationship to Celestial Works LLC, or reason for using ANKrD
• Hack, exploit, reverse engineer, decompile, modify, attack, or interfere with the app
• Abuse purchases, subscriptions, promo codes, account systems, premium features, AI features, reminders, lists, or app features
• Use bots, scripts, automation, emulators, modified clients, fake accounts, unauthorized tools, or other methods to manipulate purchases, subscriptions, account access, premium features, AI features, reminders, or app behavior
• Attempt to bypass paywalls, subscriptions, entitlement checks, access controls, security checks, or purchase validation
• Attempt to access, alter, delete, scrape, copy, or misuse data that does not belong to you
• Upload, transmit, or introduce malware, harmful code, attacks, spam, or abusive behavior
• Copy, resell, redistribute, clone, publish, or commercially exploit ANKrD or its content
• Use ANKrD in a way that violates Apple, Google, Meta, Supabase, OpenAI, Anthropic, or other third-party platform rules
• Use ANKrD in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, disrupt, or impair the app, our systems, our users, or our service providers

We may suspend, limit, disable, or remove access if we believe you violated these Terms or used the app in a harmful, fraudulent, abusive, unauthorized, unsafe, or risky way.

16. App Availability and Changes

ANKrD is provided as a small independent app.

We do not guarantee that ANKrD will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, bug-free, compatible with every device, compatible with every operating system, or free from crashes, data loss, service interruptions, notification failures, sync failures, AI issues, or other issues.

We may update, change, pause, remove, limit, disable, or discontinue any part of ANKrD at any time.

We may also remove ANKrD from app stores, stop supporting the app, stop providing updates, disable online features, add or remove paid features, change subscriptions, change premium features, change AI features, change reminders, change prompts, change lists, or discontinue the app at any time where allowed by law and platform rules.

17. Data Loss and Content Loss

You understand that purchase notes, wishlist items, save-for-later items, product links, screenshots, reflections, habit data, reminders, settings, account data, local-only data, purchases, entitlements, AI results, or other app data may be lost, changed, delayed, unavailable, corrupted, hidden, removed, limited, or reset because of bugs, device issues, app deletion, app reinstall, operating system updates, local storage clearing, account issues, backend issues, subscription issues, platform issues, network issues, service interruptions, fraud prevention, privacy protection, app updates, or other events.

Local-only data is stored on your device and may be lost if the app is deleted, your device is replaced, your device is reset, your device storage is cleared, or your device is damaged or lost.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Celestial Works LLC is not responsible for lost purchase notes, lost wishlist items, lost save-for-later items, lost product links, lost screenshots, lost reflections, lost habit data, lost reminders, lost settings, lost account data, lost local-only data, lost AI results, or lost app data.

18. Ownership and Intellectual Property

ANKrD, including its name, branding, logo, design, artwork, interface, templates, layouts, prompts, habit tools, reflection tools, AI experience, text, code, content, systems, and other materials, is owned by Celestial Works LLC or its licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, publish, display, perform, create derivative works from, scrape, extract, or use ANKrD content outside the app without written permission.

You may not use the ANKrD name, Celestial Works LLC name, logos, branding, app content, designs, screenshots, artwork, or other materials in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership, ownership, or permission unless we give written approval.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

19. User Content

You may enter, upload, save, or share purchase notes, wishlist items, product links, screenshots, reflections, reminders, profile information, feedback, or other content in ANKrD.

You keep ownership of the content you enter into ANKrD.

You give Celestial Works LLC permission to store, process, display, transmit, back up, and use your content as needed to provide, operate, secure, support, improve, and maintain ANKrD and its features.

You are responsible for your content and for making sure you have the right to enter, upload, save, or share it.

We are not required to monitor, review, verify, correct, or preserve user content.

We may remove, hide, limit, disable, or delete user content if we believe there is safety risk, privacy risk, legal risk, security risk, abuse, misuse, or violation of these Terms.

20. User Feedback

If you send us ideas, feedback, suggestions, bug reports, feature requests, comments, concepts, designs, improvements, or other input about ANKrD, you allow Celestial Works LLC to use that feedback without restriction, payment, credit, approval, or obligation to you.

We are not required to use, credit, pay for, keep confidential, review, or respond to feedback.

21. Third-Party Services

ANKrD may depend on third-party services, including Apple, Google, Facebook / Meta, Supabase, OpenAI, Anthropic, purchase processors, analytics providers, crash-reporting providers, hosting providers, authentication providers, app stores, notification providers, AI providers, email providers, and other service providers.

We are not responsible for third-party service outages, data practices, policies, errors, billing issues, account issues, login issues, refund issues, platform changes, service changes, security events, AI output, message delivery failures, or decisions made by those third parties.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms, privacy policies, and platform rules.

22. Children

ANKrD is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.

Children under 13 should not create accounts or submit personal information through ANKrD.

If we learn that a child under 13 provided personal information directly through ANKrD, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising minors' use of apps, online services, device settings, notifications, purchases, subscriptions, and screen time.

23. No Professional Advice

ANKrD is a shopping pause, reflection, and behavior support app.

ANKrD does not provide professional, financial, credit, debt, tax, accounting, investment, medical, legal, therapeutic, psychiatric, emergency, safety, or other professional advice.

You should not rely on ANKrD as a substitute for qualified professionals, emergency services, medical care, mental health care, legal advice, tax advice, financial advice, credit counseling, debt counseling, therapy, or personal judgment.

24. No Warranty

ANKrD is provided "as is" and "as available."

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Celestial Works LLC makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, reliability, security, compatibility, uninterrupted operation, or error-free operation.

We do not promise that ANKrD will meet your expectations, work on every device, operate without interruption, preserve data, remain available, remain unchanged, deliver notifications correctly, sync correctly, provide accurate reflections, provide helpful AI responses, improve spending behavior, reduce purchases, improve financial outcomes, or be free from bugs, crashes, errors, data loss, security issues, or service interruptions.

25. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Celestial Works LLC and its owners, members, employees, contractors, partners, service providers, affiliates, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages.

This includes damages related to:

• Use of or inability to use ANKrD
• Lost purchase notes, lost wishlist items, lost save-for-later items, lost product links, lost screenshots, lost reflections, lost habit data, lost reminders, lost settings, lost data, lost local-only data, lost account data, lost AI results, or lost app content
• App crashes, bugs, errors, outages, interruptions, delays, sync issues, notification failures, AI issues, or compatibility issues
• Purchases, subscriptions, cancellations, refunds, billing disputes, payment issues, renewal issues, free trials, or platform issues handled by Apple or Google
• Ads, advertisers, sponsor content, third-party links, third-party apps, third-party purchases, third-party subscriptions, stores, merchants, products, or third-party services
• Account access issues, login provider issues, backend issues, service provider issues, authentication issues, message delivery issues, or sync issues
• Device issues, operating system changes, app store changes, network issues, local storage issues, camera issues, photo library issues, notification issues, or permission issues
• AI-generated content, inaccurate information, incomplete summaries, emotionally unhelpful responses, unsafe responses, or reliance on app-generated content
• Financial decisions, purchase decisions, debt decisions, credit decisions, budgeting decisions, investment decisions, tax decisions, legal decisions, medical decisions, mental health decisions, relationship decisions, safety decisions, or professional care decisions
• Third-party store prices, product availability, product quality, shipping, returns, refunds, subscriptions, charges, account issues, payment issues, delivery issues, merchant disputes, or product claims
• Unauthorized access, fraud, misuse, invalid activity, security events, or events beyond our reasonable control

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Celestial Works LLC's total liability for any claim related to ANKrD will not exceed the amount you paid directly for ANKrD in the 3 months before the claim, or 25 US dollars, whichever is greater.

Some locations do not allow certain warranty disclaimers or liability limits, so some of these limits may not apply to you.

26. Indemnity

To the fullest extent allowed by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Celestial Works LLC and its owners, members, employees, contractors, partners, service providers, affiliates, and licensors from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, related to:

• Your use or misuse of ANKrD
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any law, regulation, platform rule, store rule, website rule, or third-party right
• Your fraud, abuse, exploitation, invalid activity, or unauthorized activity
• Your interactions with ads, sponsor content, advertisers, third-party links, third-party apps, third-party purchases, stores, merchants, or third-party services
• Any content, information, screenshots, product links, purchase notes, wishlist items, reflections, reports, profile information, or feedback you submit to us
• Any information you copy, export, screenshot, message, print, or share with other users or third parties
• Any reliance on ANKrD for financial, credit, debt, tax, legal, medical, mental health, safety, purchase, or professional decisions
• Any harm, damage, dispute, or claim related to third-party stores, products, merchants, purchases, subscriptions, refunds, returns, shipping, charges, or services

27. Account and Data Deletion

If account features are available, you may request deletion of your ANKrD account data by contacting:

Deleting ANKrD account data does not automatically cancel an active Apple App Store or Google Play subscription.

You must cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.

Local-only data may be stored only on your device. We cannot recover, transfer, restore, or delete local-only data from our servers if we do not store it in our database.

Some data may be retained where required or permitted for legal, security, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, payment, dispute, backup, abuse-prevention, or platform compliance reasons.

28. Privacy Policy

Your use of ANKrD is also covered by our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected, used, stored, or shared when you use the app.

By using ANKrD, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.

29. App Store and Platform Terms

Your use of ANKrD may also be subject to the rules, terms, and policies of the platform where you downloaded the app, including Apple App Store or Google Play.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and required Apple or Google platform rules, the required platform rules may apply where necessary.

Apple, Google, Meta, Supabase, OpenAI, Anthropic, and other third-party providers are not responsible for providing support, maintenance, refunds, or warranties for ANKrD unless their own terms say otherwise.

30. Termination

We may suspend, limit, disable, or terminate your access to ANKrD or any feature of ANKrD at any time if we believe you violated these Terms, violated platform rules, created risk, engaged in fraud or abuse, created safety risk, created privacy risk, or used the app in a harmful, unsafe, or unauthorized way.

You may stop using ANKrD at any time by deleting the app.

Deleting the app does not automatically cancel subscriptions. You must cancel subscriptions through Apple App Store or Google Play.

31. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make changes, we will update the effective date and make the latest version available in the app or on our website.

Your continued use of ANKrD after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

32. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules.

If a dispute is allowed to proceed in court, it will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

33. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining parts will remain in effect.

34. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any purchase terms shown in the app or by the app store, make up the agreement between you and Celestial Works LLC for your use of ANKrD.
